Process

User interview & Persona Building

Based on the brief , we conducted user interviews with new home owners who were planning to do renovation by themselves. From creating personas based on the user interviews, I was able to map the needs and pain points after collecting all the information.

Market Size Research

Based on user research , I started to investigate the market size within the chosen segmentation.

Competitor Analysis & Identify Opportunities

From market research, I was able to capture couple existing solutions in the market. I did a thorough competitive analysis and mapped out the opportunities for our own solutions.

Site Wireframe

Based on the ideas and features framework , I started to draw out first draft for our solution.

Landing Page Wireframe

I created landing page wireframe to convey the top features and proposed user acquisition strategy.

Content Roadmap ＆ Monetization Plan

I developed a product roadmap for different work streams and marketing plans with metric proposals to assess impact.

Project Outcome

Using the feedback from stakeholders, the team was able to update the design and content strategies and the client was able to develop a working prototype for usability testing in the future.
